I use Linux on my Playstation 2, it's the official Sony Linux kit - a Kondara Japanese distribution, based on Red Hat. It uses a really old kernel (2.2.1) so no real USB support and Sony disable access to the DVD drive, and it only has 32 MiB of RAM, so the plan is to use it as a very limited file / web server that I can access when I'm away from home.
