Hi all, We are currently battling a silverfish problem in one of our off-site collection storage rooms. We had a humidity problem a month ago where the room was above 60% relative humidity for a week and the silverfish appeared afterward. We are in the process of deep cleaning the space to remove all of the pests and potential food sources. My director wants to know if there are any chemical(s) that can be used inside the collection space to combat the pests that will not harm the collection (musical instruments). My research so far has not found anything, and the pest control specialist that services the outside of the building only has a fogger available that would leave behind a residue that I refuse to consider.
What do you use to combat silverfish? What do you suggest I look into? Thanks! Sarah -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MuseumPests" group.
