Since they mostly eat mold – they are more of an indicator species – an indicator of the presence of mold – to the best way to control them is humidity control (if you can) and housekeeping. An uptick in the numbers means that your relative humidity is going up and they have more food. Remember that mold is omni present, so monitoring, adequate airflow and housekeeping are your best lines of defense. Good work! The humidity is in a good or even at times a lower range. I know cleanliness and humidity control is a good defense against them. Is there anything else we should be doing? Thank you!
