While I am no longer in conservation, I spoke with a paper records person
today whose problem piqued my interest. She is swamped with what she calls
"pantry moths." I promised to reach out to this group to learn what could
be done. I suggested she investigate their source. She admitted there was
once plenty of food available, but it is now gone. They have put blunder
traps about, but these creatures are "flying everywhere." She is busy
repainting the walls in her office, but I don't know if that action will
have an impact. She works in a very tiny federal agency and wears many
hats. I would be grateful for any wisdom to share with her on this topic.
Many thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Hilary
