We also tentatively identified them as Oinophila v-flava/yellow v moths, and regarded them as outdoor moths that didn't pose too big a collection threat. We did keep an eye on them, and never witnessed any problems with proteinaceous material! Some of them facultatively eat plant material-- it doesn't seem like their primary food source is keratin-based. I can look into this for you, it's a very understudied clade, unfortunately! They eat decaying plant matter, bark, stored food and apparently, wine corks. Do you have anything like that in your collection? They also could have just come in from outside.
