overall i agree. but i use objects much more now and don't think about
the runtime cost at all (estimated to be %30). the OO design win for
this project makes up for the speed loss. so let us not vote one way or
another on any low level design. we should spec out the needs of these
overlapping areas (process threads, TIL, dispatch loop and tables, back
end API, etc.) and figure out what we can do and where to restrictions
need to be applied. it i want TIL and lose builtin overloading, that is
a fine tradeoff to me. i doubt i would ever overload a builtin but who
knows the future with out using PSI::ESP?
