I thought it was a really good idea; in fact, my lvalue subs RFC
(forthcoming) speaks as to how transaction-enabled lvalue subs work.
Unfornatly, non-respnose can mean two things around here: It's either so
stupid an idea that it's stupidity is self-evident, or so nice an idea that
it's goodness is self-evident.
