Say "anything that can't be done *fast*enough* with a pure perl module" and
you're closer.

For instance, many issues discussed on perl6-language-data are already
doable with a pure Perl module, but not efficiently enough for data
crunching. The trick here is to find the minimal core language and
implementation changes required to support pure Perl versions of the
majority of the language needs.
