Ooh, I like that. I'm already frustrated with the current lvalue
setup, this would be a big improvement. Actually, I'd like to see some
way of getting at the values that are going to be assigned to an
lvalue function so my function could do some pre/post assignment
checks. 

Though I suppose you could get that functionality now by doing some
tie magic. But that would be scary.
