done without any two parrot hackers within shouting distance, so we're
quite familiar with working remotely.

i'm organizing the parrot portion of google summer of code, and i'll
be happy to take your questions directily via email. a number of
parrot committers (myself included) can usually be found on
irc.perl.org#parrot. i expect most of the folks who sign up to mentor
a student will be available there.

for the time being, this list is a fine place to direct summer of code
questions, however if it becomes too distracting i'll make other
arrangements for email. i don't expect that to happene

we're still in the planning stages of course, since we're working on
the mentoring organization proposal.
