The testing of the configuration execution classes (Parrot::Configure, Parrot::Configure::Compiler, etc.) and the individual configuration step classes (init::*, inter::*, auto::* and gen::*) has improved considerably since June. (See coverage results at http://thenceforward.net/parrot/coverage/configure-build/coverage.html.) The biggest area remaining is gen::* -- the classes that generate Makefiles, header files, etc.
Since we have RTs open on each configuration step class -- as well as some more RTs focused on issues raised by Andy Dougherty -- there's no particular need to keep a general ticket like this open. So I'm resolving it. Thank you very much. kid51
