I don't think Shlomi's a fuckhead, nor do I have the bozo bit flipped against him. If I thought the situation was hopeless, I wouldn't bother responding. I'm glad to work with anyone on changes to Test::Harness. The code that has been uploaded is a fork of, not changes to, Test::Harness.
