I thought I had already replied to this but I don't seem to see it in the archive anywhere.

So the math library in question is the /usr/include/math.h header? Sorry for sounding so dunce but, being an idiot, I can't help it ;-) > Is your Cygwin uptodate? Yes. I have every single binary package installed and update daily. I even compile some things from source if the Cygwin folks are not fast enough at providing an update when there is a critical security flaw. > Anyone else seeing this errors on Cygwin? AFAIK, I am the only one doing anything with Cygwin beyond just verifying it will build correctly. Jens mentioned installing Cygwin to try and help debug and thought that it might be an alignment problem. I haven't heard anything more on that but I did notice WRT alignment there were some difference between Parrot's config and the output of my manual build of Perl 5.8.4. I believe it was size of 4 vs 8 and byteorder being 1234 vs 12345678. If it is relavent let me know and I will send the outputs. > > leo Cheers Joshua Gatcomb a.k.a.
