Well, it only happens under JIT for the following
functions (identical code for atan works fine):
cosh, sinh, tanh, sech, exp, pow

It only happens if there are two set N# prior to the
function where # is two different numbers
N0 = 1
N1 = 1

In certain cases, saving and restoring N# prior to
calling the function makes it work correctly while in
some cases (dependent on order) it does not.

Per our off-list conversation - I have googled for
problems with Cygwin and the math libs to no avail.  I
hate to sound like a broken record, but I have no idea
where to go from here.
