About two months ago, I asked the perl foundation about the grants, and Kurt DeMaagd replied: __BEGIN_ANSWER__ Dan and Damian discontinued their grants, but Larry is still on board. Larry's grant lasts until the end of the year. We will be doing more grants, though the exact structure is still to be determined. We may continue to do large grants like we have in the past. We could choose to do a greater number of smaller grants. We may end up doing some sort of combination of the two ideas. In general, TPF is in a lot better financial shape than the rumor mill holds. We post an update about a month ago (I think on use.perl), with an update. But of course communications like that don't seem to spread as well as rumors. Kurt __END_ANSWER__ So, I'm eager to know what will 2003 grants be? Jerome -- [EMAIL PROTECTED]
