Ok, at this point I think all parties have to step away and let the RFCs fall where they will. It's obvious that there are two types of people: those who don't mind the punctuation, and those who do. We already know what Perl is like with punctuation. Let the anti-punctuation folks make their RFCs, and let Larry decide. I think they're wasting their time, but it's not about what I think.
