Thanks for the patch -- I'll pull it from your repository and test it. To answer your questions, patches or pull requests can be sent directly to this mailing list. CPAN packages generally get made when there's a sufficient number of fixes or enhancements - i.e., irregularly. However, your bugfix probably justifies a new release of MARC::Record.
