Hi all, I don't know if this is the right group to post the question but ..... here it is.
I have a T2000 machine (UltraSPARC-T1 processor, 8 core x 4 threads). There are a lot of single threaded applications running and it seems the machine is not doing very well in these conditions. >From what I've read it would be better to put it at work for heavy multithreaded tasks. However, what can be done in order to suck all the computing power from the machine ? I was thinking of creating processor sets, but is this possible with virtual processors ?
