Folks,
Following is the configuration of my system:
Solaris 9
Oracle 10.2.0.2
ASMM is enabled with SGA_MAX_SIZE=15G and SGA_TARGET=14G
When Oracle instance is brought up, it also starts the ora_dism_<SID> process 
as root user. What I am interested in knowing is that what is the role of this 
process and how this process works? Just by looking at the name, it seems that 
it is related to the Solaris Dynamic Intimate Shared Management. Does it also 
somehow work with the Oracle memory manager background process (ora_mman_<SID>)?
