What certain certificate to refresh, I attended meeting Kadis
Perkapalan dan maritim BPMIGAS with Marine Section of all PSC (KKKS)
last week. One of agenda was above subject, base on surat ditjen perla
no. PH.34/1/5/DP.07 dated 8 oktober 2007 re : Seluruh pelaut harus
merevalidasi sertifikat.
Now come to the question, what about pilot or mooring master, and guy
which having marine certificate background who working at offshore
instalation deal with ship but not trading anymore,shall they refresh
stcw 95 as well, if yes then is it all or just certain certificate say
basic only and what method shall we do.
Last week meeting was recommended to consult with Ditjen Perla how it
works for above purpose. Capt Jhon Samuely from Chevron Tg. Santan is
the person who will deal with and we will hear from him soon.
