Hmmm... I was not aware of any 1:1 "adapter" for any Pentax 100mm macro. (But "I was not aware" does not preclude the actual existence of same - <g>.) Are you sure it's not actually a TC or an extension tube? (I think a 50mm - I'm not sure of the exact length - extension tube is typically used to give 1:1 with some of the 100mm macros.)
