I don't get the DSLR out much these days but I found some birds nest fungus, which I've never seen before, while weeding the garden. It's small enough that getting a pic with my phone probably wouldn't have worked too well so I got out not only the DSLR but even my tripod.
For the second photo (a closer view) I had to abandon the tripod and set up some bits of wood from the garage to brace the camera. That one was taken close to 1:1 then cropped a little.
