Here’s a ‘best of’ gallery from the trip. I spent a night in Paris, cycled to Meaux along the canal de l’Ourq, spent a few days sightseeing in Meaux, then returned to Paris along the banks of the Marne and through the Bois de Vincennes. Another night and a morning in Paris, then home.

After the event, and having seen people on the banks of the Marne picnicking like it was 1936, it occurred to me that with a Pentax I could have taken some fun HCB-clone shots for the forthcoming PUG. https://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/285110 B > > Bob W PDML wrote: > >> Bonjour! >> >> I’ve been in France for a few days and this morning I passed this well-known >> spot on my way somewhere else.
