I hope 2025 is much better tuna 2024 for those that had a crappy 2024 I have a one year old imac 24" running 14,7.1 that sometimes stops recognizing my older external drive. after waking up A facebook mac group suggested it may be due to the drive being older and formatted under 11,6,1 I dont know but it may be one of the reasons. I'm thinking I should get a newer external, format it for 14.7.1 and then copy all the files over to it from the older external.
1- what is the best format to use these days, they options don't look like they used too 2- what's the best way to copy, just drag and drop a folder at a time.??
