I don't blame him. The privacy intrusion stuff is enough to keep me off Win 11. And there are no improvements that are enticing enough to tempt me. I went with a Gigabyte B650 Aorus (where do they get these ridiculous names?) motherboard and an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor. Far from the most powerful kit you can get these days but under a grand (with cooler, memory and M.2 SSD included).
