Upgrading win 10 to 11 is pretty straightforward if I remember correctly. And the GUI is identical, I don't see why you can hate Win11 and love Win10. Microsoft is still weeding out old Win10 code and if you deep dive in the system the old stuff is still running (like control panel, device manager etc). The Settings app is not my favorite tool to tweak, the same for Apple OS's settings app (maybe that's improved but my Mac Mini from 2012 is frozen by Apple).
