A relative just sent me a link to an eBay offering of a "vintage photo" that happens to be an image of my late cousin and his bride on the day he graduated from the Naval Academy and also was married.
The price was modest, but I am astonished that a dealer somehow got hold of the photo, and that there is a market for such personal items. Also, although the back of the photo only indicated the date and place of the image, the listing identifies my cousin by name and (then) naval rank, supposedly based on information from other photos. Does anyone else find this strange?
