In fact my iPad Mini is a version 2 and quite old now, if I was going to buy a replacement from scratch I could be easily tempted by something in the Android world - like a Samsung Galaxy Tab. I'm happy hanging onto my MacBook Pro for most things, but having used Android running on a Blackberry Key1 for a couple of years, am really happy with it.
