Doesn't matter. I can't afford either of them, so if I'm going to pine for
something I can't have, it might as well be the half-a-stop faster Pentax lens.

I lugged the FA*600/4 all the way to Antarctica and back, and I tell ya, I don't
miss it. Sold it again after two years and bought a Sigma 500mm f/4.5. Which
weighs half as much and has way better resolution.
Still got that lens and even use it some times.
