Okay, I've had to think long and hard about what to do regarding my film on my upcoming honeymoon, and I've decided to shoot C-41 for my colour stuff and have it processed before I return, thus exposing it only once to the carry-on x-ray at most. We're transferring at Heathrow, and I hear that they're not too keen on hand inspecting film there.
I've also decided to pick up some b&w while I'm there and then process it when I return home, also avoiding one trip through the x-rays. I'd have it processed over there as well, but there is so much more variation available in b&w processing that I'd like to control that end of it myself. Heck, even letting go the control of the C-41 gives me the willies a little, but I figure it's a lot more bulletproof than any other process. So, here's what I'm hoping someone can help me out with: can anyone suggest a good lab in Prague that can handle medium format C-41 in the space of a day or so? I don't necessarily need prints, just the negs (though prints would be nice). And can anyone tell me what to expect in the way of price? Secondly, can anyone recommend a good place to buy black and white 120 film in Prague? Thanks lots! -Aaron - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
