I have a bunch with a personal connection and those are NOT going on
ebay ever...
John - I had forgotten you bought one of my cafe press ones! The one
with the US map , or the 48 states answers to the puzzle?
I don't have any mugs of my own designs from cafepress - too expensive :-(

I don't expect I can compete with y'all on quantity, but every mug I
have has some kind of personal connection ... like the "States" mug I
got from Ann.

Gonz, Dan... see you on ebay! :-)
Ok you both win... none of mine are boxed up though as many as twenty
are in a basket under the printer table...
I should take photos and we could play the Jelly bean in the jar game...
(more fun time-wasters) I also suddenly feel much less cluttered..
I rationalize acquiring new mugs (read.. 99 cents at the Sal army) as
mostly I do plan to ebay them... today I shipped
a Hey HO The Ramones themed mug. Joey Ramone and I shared a dentist.
Starbucks mugs always sell.. some take longer than others.
Kliban mugs (ANYTHING genuine Kliban ) is profitable.
Mostly I have mugs, but there are perhaps around 40 delicate cups and
saucers that are so lovely but definitely out of vogue.
The most I ever made was selling 4 Denis Vibert (PIne Tree Kiln in
Maine) mugs( that I had bought 6 of for 99 cents each at a NYC Sally
Ann) for $250.00 .
I've kept the other two - this was maybe 5 years ago... not only did
they not know what they had at the thrift, but I knew him in person form
when I lived in Maine... One of the remaining (pun intended) ones is by
my side now and gets heavy use.. the other one is safely in a cabinet in
case the first one meets with an accident.
I am feeling much better today

I collect coffee mugs (among other things, like mountains). I have
quite a

displayed in
my office when I had a lot more shelf space.

No es possible senorita! We got like 4 levels of a full cabinet full
of active mugs, then there are the boxes with (inactive) mugs of days
past when my wife basically collected them and put them on a shelf
that went around a pretty large dining room in an old victorian we
lived in in Pennsylvania. I should try to put them all on the floor
(no where else would they fit) and take a pic. That would be
interesting. In my travels, I brought cups from all over to her,
including a very nice bone china one from Harrod's of London, some
from India, Japan, etc. I'm sure we will be bringing some back from
Australia and New Zealand too at the end of the year.
