Yes, the noise is indeed an issue. I have resolved to using exclusively ISO 200 (base) and relying on really excellent IBIS. As well, I got that 25/0.95 lens and at 0.95 it is nicely sharp, yet it is very useful in low light. My impression is close to yours. I did not own K20, but rather K7 to which I equate the low light performance of this camera, with the exception that it managed to keep useful colors better than K7 that would end up with some pink-ish basically color-less "stuff" when confronted with really bad light.
