I have the closely related tamron 18-250. It will probably be the last aps only lens that I sell, it was the first one I bought. It is surprisingly sharp, and exceptionally versatile. It's my "if I can only bring one lens" lens.
My health has slowly improved over the last year, and I'm both cycling again and walking further. By the 14th, I hope to be up to doing my old 5 miles walking route daily. At the moment for walks, I have a camera bag which is big enough to take one DSLR with lens attached with a pocket for a 'phone etc - ideal for this. At the moment I decide which range of lens I need before I go out, but I really need a lens that covers from very wide to distance as I go further afield. Is this a good choice? Malcolm
