Just the DVDs for me, but I recall seeing it as a summer series (between seasons) on its first visit to the USA.
My friend John managed to beat his parents into submission and made the pilgrimage to Portmeirion in Summer 1969 when they were on vacation. No photos from that visitation survive either.
