With this edition Mustang, Ford engineered the car to be available worldwide right from the assembly plant. Previously, cars had to be converted for the various markets outside North America. It's proven to be a successful strategy as sales of the car, in markets where it was generally not available have been very good. Latest sales figures show the Mustang outsold Porsche sports cars in Germany.
This edition is among the best ever IMO. Still not a 'sports car' but a great performance product, especially with the new IRS rear end. The Mustang GT350R is the first high volume car to offer carbon fiber road wheels.
