I am now actually a bit on a fence... I've realized that Sony A7
(whatever variety), being a FF camera will necessarily mean that
quality lenses will be big, especially zooms. Also, the reviews on
that Vario Tessar are extremely mixed and I don't want to buy into a
system with non-OEM lens from the start.

So, I am leaning towards Olympus OMD EM-1 and their Pro 12-40/2.8
zoom. I think that it should cover 90% of my needs. It is however
small and light indeed, compared to most APS-C or FF cameras. The
reviews have been for most part very good.

As well, on my way I've stumbled upon Ming Thein site - very
interesting. And Steve Huff's site is also very pleasant to read.
Subscribed to both.

I think that I will keep the list post of my oncoming gear adventures.
At worst it may give you a chuckle. At best we can even have some
discussion about it, though I certainly realized that K-1 preoccupies,
occupies and also postoccupies the minds :-).
