Or maybe you meant where is the new Pentax repair depot going to be...
The new subcontractor is Precision Camera Repair of Enfield CT.
Something between a 30-40 minute drive from where I am. On a good day
it can be a pleasant drive, on a bad day I day, I don't like to think
about it.

CRIS did good work at a reasonable price and turned things around
quickly — when Pentax supplied parts. The big hangup most often
seemed to be getting the parts. And Pentax didn’t provide them with
all the tools need for repair on some lenses, like the DA* 16-50
which had to go back to Japan for certain repairs. Not sure this is
a good thing. Time will tell.

Old news Larry, I'm surprised you didn't get the word on that. The
good news for me is I can probably drop my cameras for repair in
person.

It also turns out that CRIS is no longer the official repair
facility.
We are no longer the Pentax Service Center as of August 1st, 2014.
RICOH IMAGING is currently in the process of moving the factory
service location from Arizona to
Connecticut.
RICOH regrets to inform you that this will cause some delays with
your repair and they apologize
for this inconvenience. They expect service operations to resume
by 8/15/14 at the new
location. The information for the new location is listed below. We
recommend that you contact
the new service location after August 1, 2014 for information on
sending your unit in for
service. Your patience and understanding is appreciated as RICOH
IMAGING makes this
transition.

It turns out that my camera may also now be out of warranty by a
