CRIS did good work at a reasonable price and turned things around quickly — when Pentax supplied parts. The big hangup most often seemed to be getting the parts. And Pentax didn’t provide them with all the tools need for repair on some lenses, like the DA* 16-50 which had to go back to Japan for certain repairs. Not sure this is a good thing. Time will tell.
