I was pretty happy with the number of what I consider keepers -- a total
of 36.
Walt, I don't know what it is you do to your images (aside from shooting
great shots in the first place) but every single time I look, they make
me want to keep looking - and that's the magic of being a consistently
good photographer.
So many excellent pictures there. Well done!
Thank you so much, Cotty!
To be honest, I'm not sure what it is I do, either. The most consistent
adjustments I make in LR are the "Medium contrast curve", bending the
shadows down just a smidge, and bumping up the clarity slider a tad. I
figure we just both have a penchant for darker shadows, contrast, and
vibrant colors. As for the shots I take, as best I can tell, there's no
rhyme nor reason to them beyond, "Hey! That got my attention. I wonder
what it was that caught my eye?" Then I just take it all in and point
the camera where my eye seems to gravitate.
In any event, I really and truly appreciate the kind words on my work.
It's always encouraging to know there's someone who sees some merit in it.
