The FA35 was discontinued almost as soon as the DA35 was introduced, and
probably hadn't been in production for several years before that. I
doubt very much it was hurt by it.

Maybe it's been longer than I imagine. Anyway, that one is gone now.
They're down to 4 of the old film lenses. The 3 classic LTDs and
FA50/1.4.
