I think that the FA35 f2 was hurt more by the perceived quality of the
DA35 f2.4 at a much lower price point. It was good enough that people
don't seem to mind the loss of a 1/2 stop for half the price. But it
is true that a full frame Pentax DSLR would cry out for that lens
again.
