Subject: Peso: Dogwood Flowering Head

http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=17239815

The red, pink or white "petals" on a dogwood tree aren't petals at
all, but rather bracts, which are modified leaves. The actual flowers
of the dogwood are those tiny greenish-yellow objects in the center of
the bracts, but which is actually a flowering head.
