you've set this in context nicely, but it is basically advertising; if you look closely, lies1.com is the actual url the picture is advertising, and that leads to liesinphiladelphia.com, an ego-marketing site for the graffiti artist whose work you photographed
lies.com, however, is much more interesting: lots of challenging metacommentary spiced with rollicking entertainment; don't miss Steve Kardynal's "call me maybe", currently third item down; stick with it, it's a hoot
