Steve, From the manual it looks like the AF140C has a bayonet coupling between the flash and the adapter rings. See page 6 in the manual.

What lenses do you plan to use it with?
mostly Sigma EX 105mm Macro (58mm); possibly Macro-Takumar 50mm or SMC Bellows 100mm (not sure their filter sizes offhand)
