Hi all.I received my B&W pictures back from the Toronto PDML
meeting and had a good look at them last night.I have
noticed on 3-4 of the 36 a strange "flare"when shooting
portrait mode.(I am getting 2 scanned at work and will
post later today)
It al most looks like a picture inside a picture. If i
look at the negative, about 2-3 mm in from the outer edge
of the negative is a very distict line on the left, bottom
and right side and the "flare is in the bottom
corners of the square.Im sure the light is a leak or
flare but the very straight, distict line work is puzzling.
Any ideas.This was a Spotmatic/lense i inherited and recently
had a CLA and meter/shutter speed adjustmet. The shutter curtain
seems to have a bit of top slack in it.
I did not have a filter on the 55 1.8,but did have a short
hood. One picture was shotnorth at right angles to the sun,the
others a little tighter. There is one noticable shot landscape
but not as pronounced.
Any help is app and hope to have a scan later today.

Dave
