I bought a 66 GT 350 upon graduating from college in 66. Went from a 59 bug eyed Sprite to the 350. It could go faster in 2nd gear than the Sprite could go top end! It was a hell of a ride which unfortunately I only had for about 6 months as it was eventually stolen, stripped and parted out in less than 3 day! I should have gotten another but I didn't want to go thru the gut wrenching experience again.

I wanted a 1966 Shelby, when they were basically a Ford Mustang fastback with little triangular windows in the back and a monster engine. But at age 16, who could afford that sort of thing? I only saw them advertised in Playboy.
