Yes that is quite interesting. There's a guy here who has been combining pre- and post- photos to show the "ghosts" of buildings that have been demolished recently. I recently purchased a book which shows historic photos of my city alongside modern views of the same locations. It's very interesting, especially to my Dad who remembers a lot of the old stuff. I bought it so I can compare it in 20 or 30 years to whatever the city looks like then.
