George, I just skimmed through the article, and Richman talks about running
back and forth to his computer with the card from the camera to adjust the
focus, and says it took 2 hours for 2 bodies and 8 lenses.  The moire
discussion is earlier and has nothing to do with adjusting the system.

The moire technique for AF adjustment is considerably faster and considerably
less exercise.

I thought it was interesting that shortly after we had the initial
discussion of this procedure, Michael Reichmann talks about doing the
same thing in his review of the Nikon D800 and D800E. (yes, he bought
one of each and a bunch of lenses)

He includes a chart of his results with both bodies and several
lenses.  Not that this has anything to do with Pentax, but it was
interesting to see how different the results were with the same lenses
on two different bodies.

This is a link to the review page.  The part about lens alignment is
all the way at the end.  It's a long article, so if you don't care
about the camera review, just scroll down.
