Nice set.
Thanks, Larry!
I think I'd like the horse pictures better if he weren't on the center line of
the frame. With the fence in the first one, it's not quite as static, but I'd
crop a bit off the right and bottom of that one. The second one I'd probably
crop left and bottom so that the horse isn't quite ready to walk out of the
frame.
Thanks for the suggestions on those. I think you're right about getting
them out of the center of the image. I'll go back and have a gander at
the originals and see where I can make some adjustments. It seems on the
second one you mentioned, I was probably concerned about a tree branch
creeping into the frame on the right-hand side, but I'll have to look
and make sure.
Thanks again!

Hi all,
Just wanted to post a few shots I got with my K-x today -- the final day
(hopefully) before my K20D arrives.
A couple of shots may look familiar as they're slightly different takes on
shots that I've taken before and sought to improve upon. Serendipitously
enough, I ran into the gentleman who owns the land in the shot with the old
tobacco barn on the hill, and he told me I was welcome to use his land to take
photos anytime I want. He also owns an old horse track where he trains his
harness-racers and invited me to come out and shoot any morning while he trains.
He really is a great guy -- one of the nicest human beings I've ever known. I
didn't even have to ask. He just flat-out gave me permission when he saw me
walking around his track with my camera. But I digress . . .
