Thanks, Don! I know he had been downloading from the card and probably still is. Earlier today I forwarded a link provided by a lister that may do it for him. I'll be checking with him and pass along your thoughtful comments if he's still hving the problem.

I would also recommend in iphoto advanced he should uncheck when importing copy photos into Iphoto library. I think it is better to copy photos into a folder on HD preferably external hd. Then manipulate with Aperture or Iphoto or Lightroom. However if he deletes renames or otherwise changes the file outside these imaging programs they will get confused. However more than one program can process the images in the same folder as the changes are non-destructive to the originals. Hope this helps. Just ask if you need more. > Message: 1 > Date: Wed, 28 Mar 2012 06:35:19 -0700 (PDT)d > From: Jack Davis <[email protected]> > To: Pentax-Discuss Mail List <[email protected]> > Subject: Mac iPhoto > Message-ID: > <[email protected]> > Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 > > I should know better than put myself here, but my brother recently decided to > be a Pentax photographer.
